Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lambeth Awards

We are excited to announce that we were chosen to create the Fairtrade silver medals for the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lambeth Awards. The medals were expertly designed by our fantastic Head Designer Annabel Panes to complement three existing medals previously awarded.

Each medal recognises outstanding service in a particular area and were awarded to various recipients including religious, political and community leaders at a special ceremony at Lambeth Palace in London on Thursday 31st March 2016.

The design of each medal reflects the area of service that they designate, and features symbols such as the Cross of St Augustine, the Canterbury Cross, the Lambeth Cross, flames and a beetle. Each medal is made in exclusively 100% Peruvian Fairtrade silver.

We are so honoured to be a part of such an important project, and are delighted at the spotlight this high profile event has shone on the importance of Fairtrade. It is our mission to provide complete transparency in our supply chain, ensuring miners work in safe conditions and receive a fair price for their work. Here at Cred we are proud to be pioneers in raising awareness of this message throughout the jewellery industry and beyond.
