Just one year since its launch Fashion Revolution day now has 71 countries involved in its campaign to ensure transparency in all areas of the fashion industry. I would say that was a pretty stella effort wouldn't you?

"WE BELIEVE IN FASHION – AN INDUSTRY WHICH VALUES PEOPLE, THE ENVIRONMENT, CREATIVITY AND PROFITS IN EQUAL MEASURE, AND IT’S EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THIS HAPPENS"

Fashion Revolution

Now that is an agenda I will definitely be voting for!!

Fashion Revolution day was born off the back of the catastrophe that happened in Dhaka, Bangladesh on April 24th 2013 where 1133 people died and a further 2500 where injured after a building collapsed. This type of disaster is unfortunately not uncommon in a fast paced industry where more often than not money is prioritised over humanity.

There are several events going on across the Uk and the world this weekend to allow people to get involved and help feed this revolution, so please check them out and have your say.

At Cred we are 100% supporting this campaign. We want people to know our Cred Story and where our Fairtrade Gold and ethical jewellery comes from, to allow you to see how transparent are supply chain is, and encourage others to do the same!

LET THE REVOLUTION BE TELEVISED!!
