Key Autumn lookf from Kerryn Grady : 1 Peace, Love & Denim
Starting her career dressing those amazing windows at Harvey Nicholls in Knightsbridge, then as Fashion Assistant at Glamour magazine, Kerryn is now a regular contributing writer & stylist for online magazine #INSPO, and has styled campaigns for Cred Jewellery, ChloBo, The Leather Satchel Company, the NHS/Liverpool Council and Liverpool Football Club.
So over to Kerryn...
Last winter we had Normcore, this season, for me, it’s all about what Elle UK dubs Post-Normal - understated, cool and flattering. The style that transcends work to day to evening wear, with hints of masculine styling and super-luxe fabrics. I’ll be choosing items with quirky detailing to add an interesting edge to my winter wardrobe, and I’ll be accessorising with some of my favourite Cred pieces for that guilt-free luxury finish. Here's the first of my 3 looks:
#1 - PEACE, LOVE AND DENIM
At the risk of getting a bit political, in today’s current climate I feel Cred’s ‘Peace’ Love Knot Spinner necklace sends out an important message. I’ll be wearing the silver one dressed down with a classic chambray boyfriend shirt. H&M’s denim shirt from their Conscious Collection is a beautiful shade of washed denim in super-soft lyocell. Combined with the necklace, this will make for a really chic, off-duty look. I love blue and black denim together, so I’ll style this shirt tucked into Monkee Genes’ black skinny zipper jeans, giving double denim a more sophisticated grown up twist. I’ll pull this whole look together with a pair of Beyond Skin’s silver ‘Albi’ brogues for a masculine edge.
