Key Autumn look from Kerryn Grady: Tonal Textures

We've loved getting advice from Fashion Stylist Kerryn Grady on how to wear this season's trends, as we are getting our wardrobes ready for the cooler days, but with enough style to wear for a variety of occasions. Make sure you check out her first two key looks, Peace, Love & Denim & Heavy Metal.

Elle UK has been preparing us for this Winter's trend for Post-Normal - A look which is understated, cool and flattering. It is a style that transcends work to day to evening wear, with hints of masculine styling and super-luxe fabrics. I’ve been looking for items with quirky detailing to add an interesting edge to my winter wardrobe. Here is my third version of the Post-Normal trend with flexibility...

#3 TONAL TEXTURES

Most of the emphasis in my jewellery collection falls on necklaces and bracelets, so I like to keep my earrings simple. The rose gold Diamond Knot Stud Earrings from Cred Jewellery are perfect for me - there’s enough detail not to get lost in the mix, but they’re simple enough to work with all my other jewellery.

I recently discovered ethical US brand Reformation, and it’s as if every piece from their Autumn Winter collection has been designed for me! These earrings will work perfectly with the dusky pink Thalia dress, with the charcoal Abbey alpaca sweater layered over the top for a cosy but feminine look.

Stella McCartney has done some fabulous faux fur bags this season, and I’ve got my eye on the Falabella mini faux fur tote in a soft grey hue that would look perfect with this ensemble.

Thanks, Kerryn, for all your style tips. We're looking forward to wearing the Autumn trends, showcasing ethical brands and flexible fashion.
