ABOUT US

Can I visit Cred and look at rings in person?

Yes! We have an appointment only studio in London and a retail store in Chichester. You can pop into our store or book an appointment to look at rings in either location.

We have been involved in thousands of weddings and engagements and our staff will be happy to advise you.

What are your opening Hours?

Our Chichester store is open Monday to Saturday 9:00 to 5:00.

Our London studio is by appointment Monday to Saturday. Please get in touch, we would love to see you!

Do I need an appointment for collections and resizes?

Yes, if you would like to collect from our London studio. Please contact us and we will book you in for a short appointment for your collection or resize.

If you would like to collect from our shop, there is no need to book an appointment, just let us know that is where you would like to collect.

Is there step free access?

Yes, in our London studio. Please get in touch if you need any extra help in getting in to see us.

Our Chichester store does not have step free access at this stage.

JEWELLERY AND DIAMOND INFORMATION

Do your diamonds come with certificates?

Yes, all our diamonds over 0.30cts come with certificates from IGI or GIA. These provide all the technical diamond grading information.

Our Canadian and Lab Grown Diamond certificates also detail the unique identification number of the diamond. This is laser inscribed on the girdle of the stone and proves the origin of your diamond.

What quality of diamonds do you sell?

Our diamonds are certified G to H colour and SI clarity as standard. If you would like to upgrade your diamond, please get in touch.

Can I view my stones before they are set in my ring?

Absolutely, get in touch and we will be happy to arrange a viewing in either our Chichester store or by appointment in the London studio. Just be aware that this will add to the time it takes to make your ring.

Do you do bespoke designs?

Don’t see the design you love in our collections but know what you want your ethical ring to look like? Book an appointment to go through your ideas with us and we will talk you through the options for your design and give you a quote to make your ring. Prices for our bespoke designs start at £2,000.

Do your White Gold rings change colour?

No, our White Gold rings will not change colour. White Gold is a slightly softer, warm white colour than Platinum and is often plated with Rhodium to give it a very white shine. When this plating wears the gold can appear to have changed colour. Our White Gold has high quality Platinum and Silver alloys to give it a lasting white colour and so doesn’t need to be plated.

What are your lead times?

Wedding and engagement rings will get to you in around 4 to 5 weeks. A custom or bespoke design can take 6 to 8 weeks. Most of our rings are made to order, but we also have a selection in store ready to wear. If you have a deadline looming, get in touch – we might have the perfect ring waiting for you!

Can we have our rings engraved?

Yes, we can engrave your rings. We recommend that your message is no more than 35 characters and the is cost £35 per ring.

We can even copy a handwritten message inside your ring. Just get in touch and we can give you a quote. Prices start from £70.

It’s a surprise, what if I get the finger size wrong?

Don’t worry! If the ring you’re buying is a surprise or you just aren’t sure what size you need, your first resize is free of charge – Just bring your ring back to us within 6 months of purchase. You can visit Cred to have your finger properly sized or pop into a local jeweller and send the ring in to us. We always recommend you insure any items you post back to us.

We have worked with many of our customers to keep their ring a surprise! Get in touch and let us know what we can do to help you.

COLLECTION & SHIPPING INFORMATION

How do deliveries work?

Once your ring is made, we send it out to you by Royal Mail in the UK or by FedEX for international orders. Your rings are fully insured while in transit to give you peace of mind.

You can also choose to collect from us in person at our Chichester store or our London studio. For more information see our opening hours and Delivery section here.

PAYMENT & PRICING INFORMATION

What types of payment do you take?

You can pay for any rings bought on our website using your Credit or Debit card. We also take card payment at our London and Chichester locations.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Can you recommend an insurance company?

It is always worth checking that your home and contents insurance don’t already cover your new jewellery.

If you are looking for an insurer, we recommend TH March as they are specialists in jewellery cover. Contact them for a quote and give them our reference AC651T, so they will know you were referred by us.
